The Vango Helvellyn 200 tent uses a semi-geodesic construction to provide superb rigidity on rough terrain, using alloy poles to create a strong design, with a small pack size and a low weight. The Helvellyn is ideal for year-round adventures, with a great design, with a spacious tunnel structure, complete with a pitch-as-one design, for simple, intuitive pitching. The Helvellyn is a great option for people planning on wild camping for the first time, Scout groups or Duke of Edinburgh.

| Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 3000 DetailsHydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is. A rating of 1500mm is deemed waterproof, but on a tent, look for a rating of 3000 or higher. Measured by the height of water column a fabric weave can take before it begins to “sweat”. “Polycotton” tents will not have a Hydrostatic Head level, as they are not treated for waterproofing. |
