A three-berth tent ideal for lightweight backpackers, requiring a small pack size, with a low overall weight (2.95kg). Further to this, the Helm Compact 3 provides a comfortable amount of headroom with an overall height of 125cm. Guaranteed to the original owner against defects in materials, workmanship, and even the alloy poles, for 2 years from purchase
The Helm Compact 3 is a dome-style, lightweight option perfect for those requiring a more spacious tent, which can accommodate up to 3 people but is more comfortable for a pair. The flysheet and inner pitch together, aiding the pitching time and ease of setup (roughly 10 minutes). Further to this, the dome style is a stronger structure, perfect for those needing a 3-season shelter capable of dealing with varying weather elements.
The alloy poles are lightweight, yet sturdy to give a solid, reliable base, with a low weight of just 2.95kg. An excellent choice for youth exhibitions.

Polyester is the most popular fabric for tent manufacturing, as it is durable, reliable and lighter in weight. Polyester does not breathe though, which creates more condensation. Polycotton – a blend of polyester and cotton, primarily cotton (usually around 65% cotton / 35% polyester split). Polycotton is a more natural fabric for camping, as it is breathable, far more durable material, reducing the effects of condensation. Offers greater versatility in hot and cold climates. | Hydrostatic Head (mm) | 4000 DetailsHydrostatic Head (Tents) – a waterproof rating for technical fabrics measured in mm. The higher the rating the more waterproof the fabric is.
